Were you pleased with the film version of RADIUM GIRLS? Maybe you can't say, but I loved it and I think it educated a lot of people who didn't know about those courageous women. My husband didn't.

Hi Cindy. The film version of RADIUM GIRLS which is on Netflix isn't actually based on my book and I have not seen it. I had no involvement in it at all. My understanding is that it features fictional women and not the real dial-painters I write about in my book. I'm still hopeful that one day the real women may be celebrated onscreen. Fingers crossed!

Mrs. Moore, I am writing a book report on "Radium Girls" for my AP VA/US History class, and I am supposed to include background information on the author. I have included the story of your inspiration for the work, as well as your history in book editing and publishing, but I would greatly appreciate it if you could enlighten me on some of your schooling, if that isn't too intrusive?
