Mrs. Moore, I am writing a book report on "Radium Girls" for my AP VA/US History class, and I am supposed to include background information on the author. I'm reading THE WOMAN THEY COULD NOT SILENCE and its brilliant. RE: Radium Girls. I'd check into where they got the idea for that book.... They include the dial-painters. Making fictional characters based on real people is usually how it works in Hollywood. Your agent might want to do a little research?
