Jodie Scales
Jodie Scales asked Alex Bledsoe:

Not actually a question, but I wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying your Tufa series. I am just starting book 4 and I haven't been this invested in a series in a long time. Thanks for your work. Okay, it won't let me post without a question mark, so what advice might you have for young writers? I am a high school English teacher.

Alex Bledsoe Thanks so much, Jodie! I hope you enjoy the last three books as much as the first three. :-) As for advice to young writers, just...write. Writing is like athletics: the more you do it, the better you get. Athletes practice every day to be ready for the Big Game; writers write every day to be ready for the Big Idea. Because the best idea in the world is wasted on a writer who hasn't developed their technical skill. How's that?
