Goodreads asked Rohit Sharma:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Rohit Sharma Luckily, I have not yet faced Writer's Block. I do a lot of research work before writing anything. Moreover, before writing the actual story (or book), I first write a detailed summary of the entire book. Then I break the summary into different chapters, and write short summary for each chapter. This approach I have followed for my first two books, and also following for my 3rd. This way, I always know what I have to write after the current chapter. Obviously, a lot of changes happen as I write the scenes and the chapters, but the research work, and the initial summary and chapter outline helps me a lot in avoiding the Writer's Block.
