I'm currently reading "Heroic Hearts" and just finished your short story "The Return of the Mage". I absolutely loved it! Will this story be developed into a novel?

Charlaine Harris The Britlingens have appeared twice before, once in the anthology "Must Love Hellhounds" and once in the Sookie novel "All Together Dead". I love to write about them, but right now I have no plans to work a whole novel around them. So glad you enjoyed the story.

You're one of my favorite authors and I'm thrilled to find the Gunnie Rose books. Do you see the series going on for a while or will it be another shorter series? I loved the Midnight Texas books and was disappointed that there weren't more of them. As a transplant Memphian, I see quite a bit of the Southern influence in your books. Is it more natural for your stories to take place "closer to home"? And do you feel the actors that portray your characters sometime struggle with their Southern drawl?
