What’s the best thing about being a writer?

P.S. Power This is going to be different for everyone. For me, personally? It's that I get to live in these fantasy worlds very intensely for a time. When I'm writing I see the events nearly as solidly as I do the keyboard and screen. Sometimes more so. That's a bit different though, so it may not be the same for you! Past that, I get to set my own hours, work on what calls to me at the moment (more or less) and really only have to answer to myself, as far as work output goes. It's a lot less stressful than a lot of jobs. No one seriously tries to stab me or threatens my life most days, for instance. I have to like that!
