Is there an estimated date to test a VASIMR engine and take humanity to Mars in 39 days?

Neil deGrasse Tyson None that I know of yet -- in space. The future of fast travel may simply be filling stations strategically located around the solar system. if you could refill a fuel tank multiple times, you could get to Mars in a matter of days -- always accelerating, never coasting.

Hypothetical question, let's say we lived on a planet with a asteroid ring around it between the planet and the moon. I would assume the ring would be visible to the naked eye? What would it look like from the ground? Would we be able to track of the larger objects?
