Michael Damen
Michael Damen asked Laura Snider:

Not a question, but just wanted to let you know that I learned about you from your TikTok video on how writing a book is easy. Your style reminded me of another author (Jeneva Rose), who has quite a few entertaining posts. That led me to order her first book the Perfect Marriage. I’m a divorced civil litigator who normally reads romance novels. Which of your books should I read first?

Laura Snider Hi, Michel! I didn't love Geneva Rose's The Perfect Marriage, but that is because I have a background in criminal law and I found the book full of inadequacies from a litigation standpoint. You might be able to stomach it better since it sounds like you've done civil litigation, not criminal litigation, so the issues I found so appalling may not bother you quite as much. I did love her book One of Us is Dead, though. I almost didn't read it because I hated the Perfect Marriage so much, but I'm glad I did. I really enjoyed that one.

As far as my books are concerned, you can start anywhere you like. Some people prefer to read books in order, but I don't always feel the way. I, personally, enjoyed writing Undetermined Death the most. That's the second book in the Ashley Montgomery Legal Thriller Series. You could start there and jump into the middle of the story and eventually go back and read one as a prequel. Book 1 is Unsympathetic Victims. If you are a "strictly read books in order" sort of person, you should start there.
