Good afternoon Ms. Abe! I'm a huge fan of Eva Evergreen: Semi-Magical Witch, I loved it so much, I really related to Eva and I can't wait to read the sequel! I was just wondering, what inspired you to write the series? What gave you the idea and made you pull through with it?

Julie Abe Hi Marcelle, I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed Eva! I wrote the series at a point when I was about to give up on my dreams of getting a book published. I had written many books before Eva Evergreen, Semi-Magical Witch, and hadn't been able to get them published. But, when I was thinking of giving up, the image of a girl with just a pinch of magic popped into my mind. Eva wasn't very powerful, but she absolutely refused to give up. I began writing her story--and that became the book that it is today!
