Goodreads asked Chris Rodell:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Chris Rodell I don't believe in writer's block. My father was an optician. He never suffered from optician's block. Sure, there were days when he didn't feel like working, but he persevered. That's what writer's need to do. We need to approach writing more as a craft than as an art. On days when I don't feel like working, I try and get something down on the screen. Then if it stinks -- and it usually does -- I can change it. But it jump starts the process and usually leads to something inspirational.
