Goodreads asked Miranda A. Uyeh:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Miranda A. Uyeh A couple ...

1. Never, ever give up on your dream. NO MATTER WHAT.
2. Know who you are on the inside and embrace it. Don't be afraid or ashamed to be the person that you know you are on the inside. Proudly embrace who you are, even if it means being different from everyone else out there. In fact, dare to be different. After all, fitting in is overrated. Standing out many times is what makes you outstanding. The power to be a great writer always comes from inside of you. So, be you. Gratefully. Humbly. Proudly.
3. For every industry you plan to enter, you must learn as much as you can about it. Make friends with other writers and reader bloggers. Follow authors and other professionals who know their stuff. You'll be grateful for the knowledge because, only fools rush in.
4. All fingers aren't equal. Some books are an instant success. Others are slow in rising. Still, some don't make it all. Keep this mind and never allow the failure/success of one book to the determine your journey. If there's a sure path you believe you need to follow, do so.

These are a few. Well, there're a lot. I could go on and on and on...
