I’ve noticed similarities between how the gods in the Queen’s Thief world treat their god touched with the gods in the World of 5 gods. Was that part of what drew you to those books?

What drew me most to the Queen's Thief was (as usual) the characters, Gen and Irene and their peculiar romance of course, but also the rest of the cast. I also enjoyed the worldbuilding. The gods weren't bad, but the QT gods are much more, hm, Greek, local, and humanoid, than the Five. But in both series, properly rare and disturbing when they enter the mortal plane, a logical commonality given their in-world realities.

Working my way through my second read of the "Hallowed Hunt" and find myself frequently rereading passages. Your explorations of religious and magical themes are unique. Were there any particular factors that turned your imagination in that direction, or have those themes always lurked in the background? By the way, have you run into the novels of Charles A Williams?

Last summer in your blog, you said you would let us know when/if a date was available for the audio version of "The Orphans of Raspay" - so much anxiety from 2 little letters. It has been over 6 months. Any chance you can at least erase the "if" and let the torrents of hope and anticipation resume? I love Grover Gardner's reading of your work. Please let us know it will continue.
