How did this book compare to Half the Sky after such an enormous and awesome project?

In Half the Sky we were focused on women overseas. In A Path Appears, we looked at all sources of inequity and lost opportunity--which includes gender but also many others--and not just abroad but also in the U.S. And after Half the Sky, people kept asking us, "So what do I do?" and we wanted to offer solutions and point people in helpful directions. So that's what A Path Appears about. It's a follow-on. We hope you enjoy it!

It's been very disheartening in recent times that people associated with noble cause organizations, like Greg Mortensen and Somaly Mam (and I realize there's a huge difference there in how funds raised were actually used) have turned out to be not quite who they seemed. What would you like to tell readers and donors about continuing to trust organizations to do the right thing and trying to aid change?
