Why have you changed Chey character so much? In book 6 I couldn't stand her deceitfulness and manipulations, I finished book 6 hoping that the subplot would change (no luck)?

Brenda Novak Chey did what she did to protect her husband. It was also something his brother did because he loved him. The subplot will change as we go through the series--but not until we get to the Amos Brothers again. Not everyone does everything right, but as long as their intentions are good, I think they are still a good person.
