Would you rather the villain win or the hero? Why?

Nenia Campbell I think we make up and root for villains in fiction to process feelings of being banded against or misunderstood. So in fiction (and especially romance), I usually find myself rooting for the villain. But in reality, villains are often people who are hurting society or actively contributing to oppression, and I would never root for that kind of hatred to win. Fictional villains, all the way.
