Any anticipated date for Demon Daughter in hardcopy? I don't see anything listed on Subterranean Press. Also, similar question on audio version. Thrilled that you are continuing to expand this wonderful series.

I only just signed the contracts for these a few days ago, so it will be a while. I'm guessing 4 - 6 months for the audio and maybe a year for SubPress. It was a surprise entry for both in their publishing queues -- mine as well. Blackstone needs time to record, though if they reuse Ron Miller's cover art that will save a step, and SubPress must contract cover art and also send me 1200 tip sheets/signature pages to sign, which they can't print up till they have the cover art. And so on.
I will make blog post announcements when things go live.

Lois McMaster Bujold:
This is less a question and more an observation. In Captain Vorpatril's Alliance, when ImpSec is sinking, Illyan comments that the people running out of the building probably grew up in earthquake country. Having grown up in earthquake country, the people who would be running out of a shaking building are everyone else. EQ country people won't even notice quakes that make non-EQ country people run out.?

Suggestion vs question: recently listened to Dunesteef's podcast of Scare Tactics, by Aeryn Rudel. Our world, woman has a demon entrapped in a giant Raggedy Ann doll, communicates with it while helping rid places of fake (or in one case real) spirits. Kept thinking of Penric and Des the whole time. I wonder if the author is also a Penric fan? Amusing listen, anyway.

Lois, like many fans, I am hoping that you will continue to write books in the Vorkosigan series. I enjoyed Captain Vorpatril's Alliance immensely and I've wondered: might other Barrayaran characters have an adventure and book of their own as well - such as Byerly Vorrutyer ?
