Dear Mr. Bohjalian, I have recently discovered your books, greatly enjoy them and am thrilled that you are so prolific. I am presently reading "The Night Strangers" and am struck by how difficult it is for these poor herbalists to find blood for their tinctures...because women do a fine job of producing their own blood. Especially, with a coven of women, cycling together. Why isn't this method used?

Suddenly, they are the size of men, and the writers have to keep that secret or on a back burner because they're expected to be all about sports.
