I’m very happy with your work ethic, Lois. We get to experience a Penric story quite often, and very occasionally a Vorkosigan one. And a reread of your previous works is always a joy. Keep on doing what you do. When there’s another collection of Penric tales, I’ll get a signed copy from your local bookshop, as long as you’re still doing that? Regards from Melbourne, Oz, Peter

Glad you're still enjoying my work!
I'm not sure what will happen with further Penric collections. Sales started out well with the first volume, but the second was released May 2020 when all the bookstores were closing for Covid. The few sales figures I've seen for the 3rd volume did not look good. The mass market paperbacks of the first two are out of print, as is the hardcover of the third. It's kinda hard to build sales when there are no copies to sell. So while it's not ruled out, I'm not at all sure Baen could make a fourth collection work well for them. Eh, time will tell.
Ebooks, happily, avoid all these difficult market constraints.

Lois McMaster Bujold:
I don't see an actual story here, but I wonder how Bosha is doing as a co-parent in the house of two very busy, strong willed adults, a role he must never have envisioned. Also because someone I know is living with her daughter, son-in-law, and three boys under the age of 8. She is starting to chafe under the apparent assumption that, since she is retired, she will always be available for child care. (?)

Hi, Lois! I'm from Russia and I really like your Saga of Vorkosigan. I think miles and one of the most vivid and strong characters in fantastic prose. Tell me, were you offered ever to make a movie or series about Vorkosigan? Or maybe you wanted this story was brought to the screen? With respect to your work, Alla.

Just finished rereading “Captain Vorpatril’s Alliance” and was wondering about your thoughts on Byerly’s future? It seems like he has the chance to reinvent himself, and from the little that came out about his past and Rish’s assessments if him, it seems like he could benefit from as much therapy as Mark ended up getting.
