Do you plan to give hints that Nico has a crush on Percy in season 3?

Rick Riordan I'm not sure what that would look like, given the fact that they literally just met in book three and don't spend much time together. My sense is that Nico doesn't even start to think in those terms until late in The Battle of the Labyrinth, when Percy invites him into the apartment to share blue birthday cake and shows him such kindness. Certainly I didn't put any such hints in the book The Titan's Curse, at least not consciously, but that doesn't mean a reader couldn't find evidence of a crush in retrospect if they are actively looking for it. I imagine the same will be true of the show. Regardless of our intent, some people will see such hints, some people won't, depending on what they are looking for. That's the fun thing about story telling: We all interpret every story differently, depending on our own life experience and our own expectations.
