R.W.W. Greene If you've not read Earth Retrograde, I don't want to give too much away about that. The true second book would have done more with the idea, but Brooklyn loses memories the longer he's out of commission. This is a useful feature for some parties.
He doesn't regenerate, either. In the original book two, he lost a leg.
