If two malices meet, they will fight until one completely “consumes” the other. What about unhatched malices? Will it get drained by a mobile malice that encounters it? Or get passively drained if it’s in an area getting blighted? Or are they not really alive until they hatch and start consuming ground? Wondering if the Great Blight would be considered cleared once it recovers however many thousands of years later.

The actual answers to most of your questions are "not developed yet". Applying a bit of off-the-cuff logic, it does seem probable that any unhatched malices would be killed by another's blight. When blight recovers, it spawns no more malices, so that notion is supported. By the same logic, the Great Blight would indeed be malice-free once it recovers, whenever. Not a fast process.

Hi, my turn to ask a question so food. Can you remember what an "Oil Cake" is supposed to be ? Mountains of Mourning breakfast AND after Caz's breakfast before collecting Laundry in Curse of Chalion. The dictionary doesn't help and nor do the recipe pages give a likely answer. Could be just a cake' fried in oil I suppose ?
