I must admit I avoid reviewing authors or doing review swaps because Amazon have, at times, frowned upon the process. Also a lot of readers I've talked to don't like the process either because they feel that the reviews are pretty worthless.
Also, in all candour, my TBR pile is so large at the moment, I couldn't offer to do meaningful reviews in the next 18 months :-(
