A Goodreads user
A Goodreads user asked Manny Rayner:

Is an offhand attitude toward the public (and the un-differentiated Franzen private) the key to financial largesse? It seems to be a guaranty of fun anyway.

Manny Rayner Uh... yes. Except possibly on Tuesdays.

Chris Edward
Chris Edward asked Manny Rayner:

Thanks. No, beyond frustration, no there isn't. I have lots of fragments that seem entirely useless without an organizing principle. How does one put limitations around one's writing so that it works towards something resembling literature? And should one explore for this organizing principle, is that a priority, or should one just write?

Shaun
Shaun asked Manny Rayner:

Is it true that it is hard to "soar with eagles" when you are "surrounded by turkeys"? Also, if the "world is truly getting smaller", then why do postage stamp prices keep going up? Please advise. Curious minds want to know, Manny, and I heard you had ALL the answers to life's persistent questions.

Can I get a little better deal on "...Pooh..." than $592.44?
