Sophie
Sophie asked Shannon Messenger:

How exactly do elves age? Sophie fit in fine with the human world for twelve years, but does it slow down later on? They never get old and wrinkly, unless they eat ruckle berries, right? So do elves reach their prime, and everything stops except their ears? Thank you!

Shannon Messenger In my mind, there's a difference between "growing up" and "aging." So the elves "grow up" normally by human standards. They go from a baby to an adult much like a human would. But they do not "age." Aging is all the stuff humans wish they could get rid of--wrinkles, gray hair, aches and pains, failing health, etc. It's what causes humans to have such a short lifespan. And my elves do not have that happen. The only part of their body that "ages" are their ears, and really only the tops of them that grow points.
