Any chance of the story describing the episode "more than a simple assassination" that Miles mentions in A Civil Campaign? Or the one with a tenyearold girl as courier, mentioned in Komarr? Or are they doomed to be unvoiced backstory? Thanks for all the enjoyment you've provided already!

I'm afraid those are doomed to stay throw-away lines, along with the politician, the lighthouse, and the trained cormorant.

I am now having a vision of an annex to L-Space, somewhere, where all those unused characters and ideas from the whole of literature sit around getting drunk and complaining to each other about how they were robbed of their rightful places in the spotlight...

Question for the Sharing Knife Universe: Are there any 'large' cities in Luthlia, or nothing by small towns the size of Glassforge and the like. I recon Ironforge is easily 15 - 20 thousand people, Glassforge is 5 Thousand. I can't see anything in Luthlia being larger the 5K people, from the carrying capacity (agricultural capacity) of the land. Or is it just small family encampments?
