So Lois, my so distant Georgette Heyer muse, on your advice I have read the Toll-Gate, The Unknown Ajax, and finally The Reluctant Widow. Surprisingly, as a 61 year old Aussie guy, I've thoroughly enjoyed her works. What next? Is it too early for Cotillion, or do i not know enough of the various tropes she suberts in that book?!

You could probably go ahead with Cotillion. Note it does not have an action or mystery plot, being mostly a frothy romp. (Not that it doesn't have plots, plotting, and plotters, but they revolve around the romance/s.)

You have introduced many side characters that might be worth stories of their own. I am thinking of Miles' step son and Jin & Mina (from Cyroburn). Any chance you might doe something about them or the further adventures of Ivan Vorpatril? I think any of those could give a different perspective on Barrayar.

Dear Mrs Bujold, Everyone loves Miles, myself included. (I loved each and every one of the _Chalion_ books as well. The "Knife" series... were only very good, and nothing spectacular... but I guess that's just me. Sorry.) However, I am very curious if you'd ever thought about having Aral Vorkosigan as a main character? We're indeed aware of most of his story, but I've always found him more intriguing than Miles...
