Have you read any of Anna Mocikat's books? I'm reading her "Behind Blue Eyes" series and consider them quite good. My favorite author for SF is Dan Simmons. The Hyperion Cantos is about the best there is IMHO. Thanks, Greg Hartman @Boonmee82460182

I am actually friends with Anna in RL. I also like her Space Punks series. She's a really great supporter of indie cyberpunk novels and we collaborated in the Neo Cyberpunk anthologies. Dan Simmons is fantastic.

This isn't a question so much as it is a comment: the amount of snark in "I Was a Teenage Weredeer" and "An American Weredeer in Michigan" was astounding. I am in awe, sir, and I am very much looking forward to whatever project you conquer next! I don't suppose that you could offer a hint regarding what books you're currently working on?

Thank you for the reply, C.T. I'm wondering since you and I both agree on Dan Simmons, why his other works - while beautifully constructed, left me flat? "The Terror" was good as were the others he penned but nothing like the Hyperion Cantos. IMO, Dan Simmons could have written more SF/Fantasy.

any eta on fall of your d-list supervilllian? I have just finished listening to all four books in the series so far (again) and I'm salivating waiting for the next book. also, its so cool you've made Phipps a character, he's also one of my favourit writers. I want an armour suit the most but I'd settle for a talking cloak. One request; throw a Canadian asskicker into Cals story. we aren't all lumber bitches.
