The fifth Tanzi book is in progress, but I am also hard at work on a completely different novel. It is set in a small town in northernmost New England (where I live). Part of the concept came from a trial of a man who was accused of sexually abusing a much-younger girl. I was on the jury that day, and the case got thrown out hours after it began, on a technicality. I still carry that memory of justice gone awry. There is a lot more to the story, and I am currently steeped in it...

Hi! I love re-reading books, and I've cycled back to Vic Tanzi--thanks for the fun! I just read the article about you in the Valley News, and noted that we both were involved with AFS (my family had a German student), I also went to Middlebury College as a Spanish Major, and I'm betting you also had John Clagett for a class or two in creative writing ...? I'm a native Vermonter, and love reading books set in Vermont.
