Planning on a re-read, I realized I apparently don't have an Ebook version of GJatRQ. I tried to find it in apple books but they only have the audio version, and it isn't listed at all in their list of Vorkosigan works. I'd prefer to read over listen currently. Any ideas why I can't find an Ebook for this novel? Could it be some sort of temporary glitch? I hope so!

This is a temporary glitch. Gentleman Jole and the Red Queen, Captain Vorpatril's Alliance, and Cryoburn have all run to the ends of their terms of license, so I took back the e-rights. The old Baen editions are being replaced with my Spectrum indie reissues (can't call them reprints in pixels, I guess) same as the international/UK versions we've had up for a while.
I'm not sure how long the process will take -- I should likely check our other vendors to see what's been completed.

Hello! A question about contraceptive implants on Barrayar - could women make these medical decisions for themselves, or was a husband or father's permission required? (To either get, or remove, the implant?) This might influence decisions for certain of my favourite couples who are betrothed but not yet married. There are references such as "observing the traditions, at least, as far as Mama and Da know ..." TY!

I've been reading Ben Aaronovitch's Rivers of London books, partly due to your enthusiastic recommendations. Thank you - I'm enjoying them a lot. However, I wonder if you've read the short, between book, pieces Ben calls moments? starting with 'Nightingale: London 1966' http://temporarilysignificant.blogspot.com/2016/08/moments-one.html?m=1 I imagine you'd enjoy them. Maybe you have some Moments of your own to share?
