Hello, can not wait to pick up your book and it seems like it might be one of the most fun reads I'll read in 2025. I looked at the blurp and had one question: where does the name The Book of Dog come from?

Lark Benobi Hi Noah. Well I’m pretty thrilled to hear you’re excited to read The Book of Dog. It’s my favorite of all the books I’ve written, and there is a scene near the end that is what you might call the ‘boss fight’ if my book was a video game, and it is the most fun I’ve ever had writing anything.

The book’s title is a play on the books of the Bible, this book being the latest creation story, written by dogs.

Claire!! It's Sandy - formerly of Biliophilistines - now up here in British Columbia. My book club here is reading Fatimah Asghar's When We Were Sisters, and I happened upon your review of it here on Goodreads. It made my heart jump!
