Ha. Um...well, I can't say that I've ever been "recognized" just going about my daily life. Mostly because I don't really get out much (thanks to deadlines, I'm usually home writing.)
But I do get out of the house for events, and I love meeting readers there. So maybe our paths will cross at a signing someday!

How exactly do elves age? Sophie fit in fine with the human world for twelve years, but does it slow down later on? They never get old and wrinkly, unless they eat ruckle berries, right? So do elves reach their prime, and everything stops except their ears? Thank you!
