Hi, Will the book All the Old Knives be more like The Tourist series or like The Cairo Affair? I loved the Milo Weaver books and would to know what happens after An American Spy. Thanks

All the Old Knives is different from both The Tourist and Cairo Affair. It's a shorter novel, focused on only two characters. Once I figure out what all happens to Milo after American Spy I'll be sure to write it down...!

I've commented before that your books, especially those featuring Milo Weaver, rise to the top of my reading list because of their feints and flourishes; the way you play around by twisting time. Seems you want your readers to think and think hard to solve the puzzles your stories construct. My question is, how do you react to being labeled a master of misdirection?
