Olen Steinhauer You don't!

Joking. But seriously, free copies are sent out either to contest winners (so one way is to be incredibly lucky--get a rabbit's foot), or to book reviewers the publisher considers important enough to spend the money on. Becoming a reviewer is a probably the best way to go about it.
