What are some advice to stay motivated to write? To not give in to writer's block?

Nenia Campbell Sometimes when it's really tough, I just write whatever comes to mind, as long as it's pertinent to the story in some way. I'll just be sitting there, cursing inwardly, writing fuck-all. It feels like you're the biggest phony in the world, but when it comes time to revise, more is definitely better. You can always (and should always) cut what you don't need.
