Now that you've finished the last Pink Carnation series, which book was the most challenging for you to write? and why?

Lauren Willig Tough question! The first was, hands down, the easiest-- even though I was learning as I was writing, it was purely for fun and there were no expectations or reservations. It seems like too pat an answer, but I'd have to say the last was the hardest: even though I had been thinking about it for a very long time, there was so much wrapped into it being the last book in the series, both emotionally, for me, and practically, in terms of all the back-story that needed to be filtered in.

Your portrayal of Jack & Jane's thoughts, emotions was brilliant. You made them seem humans not mysterious figures. Anyways I hope you'll write books about Lord & Lady Uppington(they're brilliant), Kat & Tommy(very curious) and Lizzy & Nicolas obviously(can't wait to see how this turns out. Jack & Miss Gwen will definitely be livid.) Did Colin S. and Nicholas D. ever meet? And what's Selwicks' connection to Nicolas?
