I had the very unique experience of doing business in Hungary in the early 1990's . It was a time of great economic and political transition for all of Eastern/Central Europe. It was easy enough to get caught up in the "wild and crazy" Budapest nightlife and culture, that was so much different from America. I used to always ask myself "what if he/she is?" when interacting both personally and in business transactions. "Playing games with the faces...," as Simon and Garfunkel would say. This was the fodder that prompted the writing of my debut fictional, international thriller novel, The Budapest Experiment.
