Do you believe that you can expand to history of Asian countries, such as the dynasties of China with emperors and the scheming of women, or are you more interested in European History?

Japanese history in particular is something that has always fascinated me - I'd love to head to Japan for a historical novel someday! But it would require an absolutely massive amount of research, being very different from anything else I've done, so I'll have to see when I can carve out the proper amount of time.

Being a writer is what I want the most in this world, nothing makes me happier than writing, but I'm more and more frustrated with each passing day, because I've been blocked for 3 years. And it is not that I have an unfinished story. I have NOTHING AT ALL. A blank page in front of me, that only makes me sadder... Is there a way to overcome this? How do you handle it?

I've just finished re-reading your story from "A Day of Fire" for the 5th time and simply wanted to thank you for creating someone like Marcus, who is one of the most endearing characters I've ever read about, and for Diana, who rocks :) I would totally love to read more about them, but, alas, I've already read your Rome series! Also, if you have time, can you tell how these two came to life as your characters?
