Do you think being an author is a good career choice right of the bat. You started out as a teacher and wrote while doing that. I know thats what a lot of people do. Do you think i should start out as trying to be an author, or get a stable carrer first?

When I write I get into these slumps, not writer's block necessarily, I feel lethargic, overly analytical, and like no one cares except me.
