Hi Cornelia! I'm a huge fan of the Inkworld series and I was wondering if you I listened to any music while you were writing the books and if that music shaped the series?

Yes, I do! For the Inkbooks I listen to Troubadour music, Baroque music, lute music from the renaissance (although that's a bit too late:) And for the Mirror-Books I listen to 19th century music while writing: Schubert, Tschaikowsky, Dvorak etc:) When I do my illustrations I listen to modern music:)
