Iori asked Niall Teasdale:

Hey, Mr Teasdale. Do you often re-read your books ?

Niall Teasdale The easy answer is no, but it's more complicated than that.

Once I've written one I've read the entire thing at least three times. I'm not that big on rereading books written by other people (it's not unknown, but it's rare), so rereading my own stuff comes low on the list.

However, I did get a new toy a while back which I use for creating timelines (Aeon Timeline, if you're interested) and I went through the entire Thaumatology series, and the existing Aneka books to create a timeline of the important points in each. At the time I was writing Vengeance and hadn't touched Ceri and Lily in a while, so I also needed to get back into the mind set. I may well read Vengeance again before I write the next one.

I do, generally, enjoy reading them when I do it. I write stuff I'd like to read, and if I've left enough time before going over one there's enough unfamiliarity to make it interesting.
