What inspired you to create a world filled with Gods and wars between them? How did you come up with the idea?

Dean F. Wilson I've always been a big fan of mythology, and I consider fantasy to be its modern heir. I wanted to portray a world where the gods are just as vulnerable as everyone else, and where the line between man and god was blurred. Since all good stories involve conflict of some kind, war is almost a natural environment for a realm populated by various peoples with different cultures.
