If you are going to write a novel based on one of the ghosts in horror movies, who will it be and why?

I don't think I would write about any of the ghosts I've seen in horror movies. I prefer unexplained or unknown evil in things and places, like the mirror in Oculus or the beach in Nature's Grave, or whatever the ship came back as in Event Horizon. But if I HAD to, maybe the ghost from The Grudge. That could be funny.

No question - just a quick thank you for the Goddess War trilogy. I was a huge mythology nut in my youth and these books (along with a few others - like the Percy Jackson series, for instance) remind me of how interesting creation/end of the world myths can be. The Goddess War books left me with a host of questions (how much fun is a healthy Hermes?) that are fun to ponder.
