hey Rachael, I would just like to know if there is a chance of you starting a new series after Spark, Stray and Shield or if you are going to continue the Spark series? Also if you do start a new series it would be great to have more characters like Evie, brave, strong and can do anything. thx a lot.

Your question just made my day. :-D I'm so glad that you enjoyed Evie's character. I love kick-ass protagonists, too! I wanted to write someone fierce and loving (like Buffy the Vampire Slayer) Someone whose courage & strength / flaws & weaknesses you can relate too with the fantastic elements you wish had (ninja moves/telepathy/clear skin) and the horrific elements you're glad you don't have (Fixation Effect! Eep!)
At this stage the Spark series will just be a trilogy. I'm open to exploring other possibilities in the world of the story - maybe I'll come back to it. I do have an idea percolating in the back of my brain for a completely new story. At this stage I don't know if it would be a series or stand alone but it will be YA, it will have a strong central female lead (maybe strong in a different way from Evie) and there will be a fantastical element.
