What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Nick Cole It's like getting to be the actor in a movie. in fact all the actors. And the Director. And the costumer, makeup, lighting and composer, editing... well it's like getting to be an entire movie crew. It's pretty fun and I love sitting down to write and I love thinking about writing when I'm not writing and I love finding something that I'll think, "Hey that should be in a book!" Or someone.

I just finished The End....... and this is bugging me. How could the "author" having all the evidence in front of them, not know that Alex and Jason were the same two looking for each other? It's the correct hotel room, Matt the boss, canteen and ring at the end, etc.
