So, I know October is over, but I noticed no one asked about your haunted house. I'm curious to know more about it! Do you know who/what is haunting it, or simply that it's haunted? Very spooky!

I live in a 125-year-old farmhouse. There have been three major fires on the property since it was built: one that killed the caretakers; one that burned down the dairy barn; and one that badly burned the former owner on New Year's Eve. Every once in a while I wake up smelling smoke and my vision has turned red, as though the house is on fire, but it's just an illusion. Still, spooky!

As a first impression, the book cover and title is obviously extremely important. Your Madman's Daughter series excel in both, so my question is... How do you come up with the titles for your books, and how do you choose the cover art? Do you start out writing with the right title and an idea of what everything should look like?
