Hi John, are you writing any more books after Wrath set in the same world? Or are you going for a break and create a new world?
John Gwynne
Hi Mark,
Great to hear from you. I will definitely be writing more books after Wrath - in fact, I've already started. Well, not quite started writing, but definitely plotting and researching :)
I finished Wrath just over a week ago, and it's with my editor now. I don't have a definite publication date for it yet, but I'd imagine around this time next year.
I have a new book deal with Pan Macmillan for a new trilogy. It will be set in the same world, the Banished Lands, about 100 or so years after the events of Wrath. I'm really excited about it. Here' what my publishers had to say about it:

So I'll soon start writing book 1 of this series. It is pencilled in for publication in 2017.
I hope that helps.
Best,
John

Hi John . I'm sorry to say but I'm new to your writings but have heard a lot a good things!! So I preordered A Time Of Dread because what I had read about it ,sounded interesting to me. My question is should I have read the previous trilogy or can I go back at a later time and read them or will I be confused starting off with A Time Of Dread?

So not long until June now, and I am looking forward to reading the next instalment. Meaning no disrespect, but I read a fair bit and sometimes details get muddled, I could start to re-read Valour but I know within about 10 pages I will remember virtually everything. So while the book is in editing stage is there a possibility of adding a kind previously on the Faithful and the Fallen type prologue ?
