Jackie Layton
Jackie Layton asked Kristan Higgins:

Hi Kristan, I'm always excited to discover a new novel you've written. I've noticed most of your stories are in first person. I'm curious why. Would you mind to share? Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Kristan Higgins Actually, I think it's half and half. But I like writing both ways. First person is very intimate, and it's more like real life, because you can't get into the head of your love interest, can you? (It's probably best that way...) It really depends on the book. Liam Murphy was the first hero's POV I wrote, and it was simply because he had so much to say, I couldn't get it across through only what Posey witnessed. (That book is UNTIL THERE WAS YOU.)
