How structured is your work day?

Kristan Higgins Are my editors listening? If so, then terribly structured! If it's just us here, then I confess to being pretty unstructured. That being said, I can write ten pages in an hour, and 75,000 words in a month. But the book has to be ready, and I do a lot of outlining and mulling and researching and thinking, so almost every day is different in some way. I work every day; I don't write fiction every day. Sometimes I spend the day chatting with you fine people; sometimes I'm visiting my daughter at college; sometimes I'm alone in the office with the dogs, banging out pages. Balance is the key to a happy life, you know?
