How long would you say it takes you from completing the first draft of "Anything for you until you publish it?" I took your class and love it! I pre ordered the book and cannot wait to read it!

Kristan Higgins Hi, Caroline! About six months to write a first draft and whack it into submission. Sometimes a little longer...sometimes it's a story that's been lurking in my brain. It takes about six months from the time I pass it in until the time it hits the shelves. Sometimes a year, depending on the publishing schedule.
