Kristan Higgins Thank you so much, Melanie! I think most people are a mix of all those things you mentioned... I try to write realistic characters as well as characters I'd like for friends. Sometimes it takes longer for a character to "pop," but I hang in there until they do (or I hope I do, anyway!).
